Emergency Preparedness

What began as a partnership with Ashland Fire & Rescue many years ago to support wildfire safety and healthy forests in the Ashland Watershed, has grown into a broadscale collaboration on smoke awareness and emergency preparedness. We have developed resources that help businesses, residents, employees and visitors prepare for emergencies with useful information on smoke, evacuation, and emergency alerts. This work is being used as a model throughout the country.

Business Emergency Preparedness Post-Workshop Resources:

On June 4, 2026 the Ashland Chamber's Business Emergency Preparedness Committee held a workshop on Business Emergency Preparedness planning and business continuity post emergency. Over 80 local businesses were represented and gained helpful information and tools to support their business and "Take One Step Today" in preparedness planning. If you were not able to attend, we have follow up resources available for you.
