An opportunity to promote your business, share updates, and learn about what other businesses have going on in the community.

Greeters Networking Group

Greeters is a weekly networking group of Ashland Chamber members, guests and potential members who come together to meet business leaders and form lasting relationships. We’d love to have you join us.

  • 8:15 AM FRIDAY MORNINGS (except the week of Night Greeters)
  • 5:15 PM NIGHT GREETERS (4TH THURSDAY)

Typical Agenda

Our host business gives an 8-10 minute presentation about their business.

Following that presentation, business cards are drawn for the other businesses to speak. Each business has 40 seconds.

Then, we do community service announcements that are not about your business, but things happening in the community.

We end with gifts! Members bring a door prize or $1 to each meeting.

May 2026 Schedule:

  • May 1st -  City of Ashland AT Pioneer Hall - 73 Winburn Way
  • May 8th  - Friends of Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument - at The Headwaters Environmental Center, home of Southern Oregon Land Conservancy and GEOS Institute - 84 4th St.
  • May 15th - Ashland Aerial Arts - 280 E. Hersey St. # 12
  • May 22nd  - HUB Warehouse - 255 Helman St. # 4
  • May 28th - Gypsy Road Studio - 369 E. Main St.

 

Meeting Rules:

This is an opportunity for you to share about your business and/or organization, make new connections and meet new people. We do have rules:

  1. Each business has 40 seconds -quickly finish your sentence when the bell rings. The bell will continue to ring to remind you. Testimonials should be less than 15 seconds. If multiple representatives attend from 1 business, the business still only has 40 seconds.
  2. No politics or religion and, in order to keep pace of the meeting, we avoid clapping.
  3. This is a private chamber event, but open to potential members. If you are not a chamber member, you are welcome to attend 2-3 meetings before the requirement of chamber membership.

Host a Greeters:

  • Showcase your business to other members.
  • Promotions include - Greeter Weekly Newsletter, Online Monthly Schedule and Social Media Posts.
  • First presenter at meeting and more time to talk about your business, 8-10 minutes for your presentation.
  • You will get business cards of attendees.
  • Even if you don't have space, several hosts find a venue or co-host.
