APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE

General Parade Information:
Approved entries will be assigned a specific order for the parade route. More details will be provided, closer to the event date.

Parade Route: The Parade begins at Triangle Park and end’s in Ashland’s Plaza (heading the wrong-direction down Siskiyou Blvd. and East Main Street).

2024 Parade Timeline (subject to change):

 7:00 AM - Entries may arrive to the new staging area at the SOU parking lots on Mountain Ave.
 8:30 AM - Judging begins for Floats (must be designated on your entry form in order to be judged)
 9:15 AM - Cut-Off time for floats & participants to be at staging area. 
10:00 AM - Parade Begins
11:30 - 12:00 PM - Parade Typically Ends (depending how many entries have signed up)


Parade Prizes:

We are awarding CASH PRIZES for 1st, 2nd and 3rd (overall) Parade Entries voted on by our Official Parade Judges! Start thinking about how you can design your floats to best honor the 2024 “Go4th For Kids! We're all kids at heart” theme.


2024 Parade Entry Deadlines & Fees:

Completed Application Materials: by 5/31 6/1 - 6/14 6/14 -6/21
       
Ashland Chamber Members Rate: $75 $100 $150
Non-Ashland Chamber Member Rate: $125 $150 $200
Subsidy Rate: $35 $50 $65
*Late fee if space available      

To qualify for the subsidy rate you must be a non-profit organization and your entry must feature one of the following: 1 or more horses, a band (5 or more people) or children (10 or more under the ages of 17)


To Apply:  We request that you read and understand fully the above Mission Statement and Parade Rules & Regulations link attached below.

1. Read the Parade Rules & Regulations carefully. Click here for information.
2. Click HERE to fill our your interest in participating.
3. You will receive an email from the Chamber with final approval of participation
4.  Upon approval of your entry, you will receive information that requires further action.
        a) Signed wavier, release, hold harmless agreement, and enforcement of rules & regulations
       
b) Payment for your entry
5.  Confirmation Packets will be emailed closer to the event.

  • Details in Confirmation Packet will include:
    • Parade Entry Number
    • Final Parade Timeline
    • Staging Details
    • Parade Map
    • Any applicable supplemental information  



By signing your Parade Application, you acknowledge that you, and everyone involved with your entry, will uphold all Rules & Regulations and adhere to the Mission and Theme set forth by the Ashland Chamber of Commerce.

NOTE: ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE SELECTED IN ACCORDANCE WITHIN OUR MISSION AND THEME
