While we prepare for our treasure trove of summer offerings, we are also looking back at all we were able to accomplish this year: Residencies with Sphinx Virtuosi, marimbist Britton-René Collins with RVSO, Arx Duo at the Southern Oregon Percussion Festival, Jača with Guitar Society of Southern Oregon, and SOU Percussion Professor, Terry Longshore We also had several members of our Britt Festival Orchestra out to visit, including our conductor Teddy Abrams, Violinists Alexandra Preucil, Petros Karapetyan and Anna Leunis, and wind players, Erich Heckscher and Jennifer Nelson. BrittKids Klub video series including Scout's Sing-a-long Songs with Nanny Nikki and "Earth Music Odyssey" with Nell Geisslinger & Kevin O'Briant, the launch of the first BrittKids Comic Strip, "Astro Adventures", and the third year of the BrittKids Klub Birthday Bundles! We hope you enjoyed it all as much as we did bringing it to you! "Earth Music Odyssey" Episode 5 Jheri and Borborygmus break off a day trip to the asteroid belt to visit Norwegian band Fossegrimen, who teach them about the Hardanger Fiddle and their traditional heirloom garments! Look for a new episode each month through June in the BrittKids Klub e-Blast and Britt You Tube channel!  Spotlight on the BKK Adventure! In Episode 5, the crew of the BKK Adventure is zooming through space to swampy Alpha 5 to see one of their favorite bands, The Froggles! Look for this episode in the next edition of Scout's e-Blast, later this month! Join Scout, Flora, Bunmi, Bearto, and Phineas the Frog each month as they zoom from planet to planet meeting amazing aliens and exchanging fun facts and techniques about music, drawing, painting, sculpting, and other awesome ways to be creative!
