Taught musical theatre by Oscar Hammerstein, Sondheim created a new breed of American musical as well as mentoring current trailblazers such as Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jason Robert Brown, and Jonathan Larson. This look into the life of one of the most influential composers of the twentieth century will please both old fans of Sondheim as well as new.
This LIVE MUSIC presentation features songs from hits like A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, and Company to his lesser performed works like Pacific Overtures, The Frogs, and Assassins, this Spotlight is not one to miss!
