CEO’s Welcome!
Welcome to the Britt Presents season! After months of behind the scenes work, it’s time to take to the stage and experience live performance in one of the most beautiful venues anywhere. What a treat!
It’s my first Britt summer as your President & CEO, and I’m so excited to experience it with you. I’m totally blown away by the star power we’ll get to experience together. Whether you’re here for Sarah McLachlan, Jim Gaffigan, Chicago, Bonnie Raitt & Mavis Staples, Lindsey Stirling, or any of our other amazing acts, I’m sure you’ll be telling your friends about it for weeks to come. Whatever shows you attend, I hope you’ll also consider buying a ticket for another kind of show – maybe even something outside your comfort zone. At Britt, you can take a chance on something new knowing that you’ll have a wonderful time.
Of course, none of this would be possible without your patronage and support. Your ticket purchases and donations bring the music to life in our concert hall under the stars. Thank you!
— Abby McKee, President & CEO

Meet this year’s Fine Arts Poster artist - Trisha Stricklin.
We love this year’s poster art: a beautiful oil painting of goldfinches and a violin titled “Natural Harmony”. Born and raised in the San Joaquin Valley of California, Trisha knew at an early age that she was going to be an artist. After completing high school Trisha completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with Honors in drawing and illustration at the California College of Arts and Crafts, beginning a successful 25-year career in San Francisco as an award-winning designer/art director and illustrator. In 2004 Trisha relocated to the Rogue Valley in order to become the staff artist for Harry & David in the product design department.
Semi-retired, she now devotes herself to painting full time, and to the continuing development of her own unique view and artistic voice: “The process of creating art is a never-ending journey of discovery, interpretation, and development.”
Are you an artist and interested in becoming a Britt Fine Arts Poster artist? We will be selecting artists for the next three seasons this summer - watch for a Call for Artists from June 7-July 8. Details will be provided via email and Britt social channels in the coming week.
Volunteer Update!
We concluded our spring volunteer recruitment in early May, reaching our target of 300 volunteers by welcoming over 90 new volunteers to the 2022 season. Already these folks have donated hours worth over $3600 and we haven’t had a single performance yet! Thanks so much to our returning volunteers and to those starting many years with us.
Summer brings concerts for kids too! The FREE BrittKids Koncerts are coming, starting June 8th with the King of the Pipers, presented by Kevin Carr and Josie Mendelssohn as well as shows by GRAMMY nominated artists Nanny Nikki and Aaron Nigel Smith and a bunch of others.
