Creative Essence - Intuitive Abstract Expressions in Watercolor by
Lynda Hoffman-Snodgrass
This month's exhibition at Art & Soul Ashland features watercolor paintings by Lynda Hoffman-Snodgrass. From shared experiences in realism, tributes to spirituality, and journeys into abstraction, Lynda's work is a culmination and a sharing of her life experiences, dreams, inner visions, and all that she is. To Lynda, the most important part of a painting is the message or experience that she wants to share with her viewers.

Ashland Art Works
Shari Southard
Currently featured at Ashland Art Works are watercolor paintings by Shari Southard. Shari paints outside on location and has always had a natural desire to engage with nature in this way, not so much to capture exactly what it looks like, but instead, to honor it. As she describes, her paintings are a way for her viewers to look over her shoulder and see the world just as she sees it.

Printmaking by Denise Kester and Ceramics by Julia Janeway
Join Denise Kester and Julia Janeway to visit and learn more about what they have been up to in the studio! In addition to seeing new and completed work, there will also be an opportunity to take a look at what is in process. Denise specializes in monoprint as well as multimedia, drawing, and painting, while Julia specializes in ceramics that always aim to tell a story.

This month's exhibition at Gallerie Karon features a new collection of diverse masks and artifacts from Africa. In addition to photos, paintings, and jewelry, Judy Benson LaNier is featured alongside Vernon Lawhorne and Joseph Bartlow. With many areas of Africa being represented, viewers will have the opportunity to travel to another country right from the gallery itself!
