BRN 1-5-22: Quarantine & Large Company test requirements

  1. Oregon OHA has adopted CDC’s new guidelines for Isolation and Quarantine.

This is the CDC page, which has some additional detail:
  1. Oregon OSHA will be moving forward with rule-making for the large employer (100+ employees) vaccination requirement for employees now that the federal stay has been dissolved. “Oregon OSHA is required to adopt the same or similar standard by Jan. 24, 2022. Like the federal standard, the anticipated effective date of the Oregon standard would be 30 days from adoption.”  

From the original White House press release: there will be a “requirement for employers with 100 or more employees to ensure each of their workers is fully vaccinated or tests for COVID-19 on at least a weekly basis. The OSHA rule will also require that these employers provide paid-time for employees to get vaccinated, and ensure all unvaccinated workers wear a face mask in the workplace.” For full details, see:
