There were activities for the whole family both BEFORE and AFTER the parade:
BEFORE the parade from 2:30-3:30pm, Halloween Bags – Meet the spooky staff of Paddington Express (300 East Main St.) and make Halloween Trick-or-Treat Bags
3:00 - 3:30pm, Halloween Fun – at the Ashland Public Library (410 Siskiyou Blvd.) featuring local musicians, Tish McFadden and Brian Freeman. Sponsored by Friends of the Ashland Public Library.
Before Halloween: Kickoff Halloween festivities by attending the Ashland Schools Foundation Monster Ball Pasta Party on Friday, October 25th from 5:00-8:00pm at the Historic Ashland Armory (costume contest & kid’s activities), then run in the 11th annual Monster Dash Run for Education on Saturday, October 26th. Race Day registration, packet pickup, and vendors open on race-day at 9:00am in Lithia Park. The 1-mile Fun Run/Walk starts at 10:00am, and the 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run have a combined start at 10:45am. New this year, attend the official after party, hosted by the Brickroom from 12-3:00PM. Runners receive a free beer or non-alcoholic drink and a commemorative pint glass. All events benefit the Ashland Schools Foundation and support grants in Ashland public schools.
