ART on FIRST is a carefully curated, artist/woman owned, art gallery in the heart of downtown Ashland. Featuring about 40 artists and artisans whose passion and originality truly shines through in their work, they focus mostly on local and regional artists, with a few from afar. 

Established in 2024 by a long-time local artist, ART on FIRST is the perfect place to expand your art collection, find that piece of art that makes your home complete, and shop for unique hand-made gifts. They offer a wonderful selection of fine art, photography, sculptures in bronze and wood, beautiful jewelry, hand-blown and fused glass, fine woodwork, mosaics, fine and functional pottery, fiber and wearable art, and more.

ART on FIRST is also the home of AlmaMia Jewelry & Studio. where you can see the collection of nature-inspired jewelry, and at times watch Karina create her pieces. 

Monthly events include a Featured Artist reception as part of the Downtown First Friday Art Walk, and their “Art-in-Action” series where every Third Thursday of the month, you can enjoy live demonstrations by at least one of the resident artists who spends the day at the Gallery working on their Art.
