Our mission is building community and cultural connection through world music experience. We bring the world closer to home by producing the Rogue World Music Festival every Memorial Day weekend in partnership with the Ashland and Medford Parks & Recreation Commissions. This multi-day, multi-event festival spans the cities of Medford, Talent, and Ashland, Oregon, offering concerts, workshops, storytelling, and musician talkbacks - all for FREE. Our Songbirds program helps children develop musicality as a life skill, and is taught in all K-3rd grade classrooms in the Phoenix-Talent School District. Our quarterly Gather 'Round events offer participatory community music/dance opportunities with a cultural focus during the Ashland First Friday Artwalks of March, May, July, and October and our wassailing rehearsals and community singing events bring folks together each December.
