2nd Street Cottages is located on a quiet side street in the historic and lovely Railroad District.  This is the perfect location providing all of the comforts and charm of a historic (renovated) home and the option of not having to drive to experience all that downtown Ashland has to offer.  Just two short blocks to theatres, unique shops, world class dining, art galleries, tasting rooms, day spas, entertainment and people watching.  Ashland’s crown jewel, Lithia Park (93 acres of forested, magnificent beauty) is a short walk where you can also enjoy Saturday farmer’s markets and weekend artisan’s markets at the Plaza (April – October) or participate in the many festivals hosted in Ashland year-round.

2nd Street Cottages was the original home of one of the first founding members of the Ashland community (Hargardine Family).  Built in 1900, this home has been lovingly restored with great attention to detail and has retained all of the original charm while adding modern conveniences and quality comforts desired by today’s travelers.   We look forward to welcoming you!  

Heritage Suite
The Heritage Suite is a delightful four bedroom, three full bath cottage that accommodates eight guests comfortably.

The Garden Suite is a charming two bedroom, 2 full bath cottage that comfortably welcomes 5 guests.

Although the Heritage and Garden suites are separate, they can be booked concurrently (depending on availability) for guests who prefer or need more space. The two properties together comfortably sleep 13.
