We're a Jewish Renewal community led by Rabbi David Zaslow, now in his 25th year of service to our community. We are an extended family of Jews by birth and by choice and friends from many different spiritual paths joining to infuse our lives with Torah & Gd. We are a diverse community and are proud to be a LGBTQ Safe Zone. We welcome people of all backgrounds and all the colors of the rainbow.
We are a spiritual home and loving community that is dedicated to being a place of welcome, wholeness, and inclusiveness and providing a sense of belonging and communal support.
Our inspirational services are immersed in spirituality and infused with music and joy.
Our Wisdom Garden Hebrew School for children K- 9th grades meets bi-monthly on Sundays. We teach our children the joy of claiming and being proud of their heritage, Jewish ethics, and to develop their own personal relationship with Gd through poetry, music, drama and prayer.
We are also home to Olive Tree Kindergarten and Preschool, a bilingual, play based, child-centered preschool, deeply inspired by and committed to the Waldorf approach. The Olive Tree Preschool is a community of families dedicated to nurturing the beauty of the child's imagination and the innate curiosity and spirit of childhood through daily creative indoor and outdoor play, honoring the earth's diverse cultures and languages, and learning to tend to the earth through the work of our hands.
The Havurah really functions as a community center as well as a synagogue. We provide many adult education opportunities: ongoing Torah and Talmud classes with Rabbi David and much more. We host concerts, Interfaith events as well as Shabbaton weekends of learning, music and prayer with visiting teachers and rabbis.
At this time of Covid 19, we are providing a very rich array of inspiring services and classes online. Our calendar is available on our website or you can contact me to be added to our email announcement list.
