IT’S OFFICIAL, the first week of the Rogue Valley Growers & Crafters Market is here! Every Tuesday in Ashland and Thursday in Medford, March through November. It is RVGCM’s 30th Anniversary and we plan to make it the best season ever! There will be a photo booth, scavenger hunt, raffles and more to create an exciting and fun opening day experience for the whole family.

RVGCM’s diverse, well rounded Markets offer everything your heart and palate may desire: fruits & vegetables, local honey, sustainably raised meat, free-range eggs, artisan pastas, cheese, hand spun fiber arts, delectable baked goods, jams and, starting in 2017, beer & spirits!

Vegetable starts, bedding plants and perennials are there to, not only beautify your shopping experience, but your home gardens, as well. Handcrafted goods like pottery, fine woodwork, luxurious soaps, hand-blown glass jewelry and wild-crafted goods assure your shopping bag will be full of unique, local treasures. Grab breakfast and/or lunch at one of our spectacular food trucks. 

Thanks to the Farmers Market Fund, we offer a food assistance-matching program, Double Up Food Bucks, for Oregon Trail cardholders.  Shoppers can receive up to $20 per week ($10 Thursdays / $10 Saturdays starting in May) to buy fresh healthy food. The Market Sprouts Kids Club caters to kids aged 5-12 and offers opportunity to learn about how to shop, eat and grow in a healthful way.  

The Market season begins Thursday March 2nd at Hawthorne Park, 99 Hawthorne Street from 8:30a – 1:30p and on Tuesday March 7th at the Ashland at the National Guard Armory, 1420 East Main Street from 8:30a-1:30p. Both Saturday markets (Oak St., Ashland and Hawthorne Park, Medford) will open in May. The Markets accept credit, debit and Oregon Trail cards.
