The service is part of The Shuttle based in Klamath Falls, Oregon which has operated as a transportation company for nearly a decade. There are currently three historically designed trolleys that will operate at Crater Lake each day. Each of the trolleys will be able to accommodate 25 passengers for each trip. The tour will entail a two hour tour around the Rim Drive of the lake with several stops at specific areas of interest. The tour includes a National Park interpreter/guide that will provide information about the unique features of Oregon's only National Park so visitors can learn more about the Park on their visit. The trolleys are ADA compliant and are designed to accommodate visitors that may have some disabilities. Pricing for the tickets are $25.00 for adults, $22.00 for seniors and $15.00 for children 5 to 13 and 4 and under are free. Ticketing for each of the four daily tours is located near the Community House at Rim Village near the Crater Lake Lodge. Ticket sales begin at 9:00 AM for the first trolley which will depart at 10:00 AM. Tours depart hourly until 3:00 p.m.Tickets for any time frame can be purchased up to 24 hours ahead of the actual tour desired. Trolleys are powered by environmentally friendly compressed natural gas which has been made possible only by the partnership of Avista. They have provided the equipment, fueling station, and personnel to insure the safety and availability to refuel the trolleys. Crater Lake Trolley certainly appreciates all that Avista has done to insure a successful tomorrow. The reduction in emissions in the Park will be significant since there will be substantially less traffic on the Rim Drive with guests having the ability to use the trolley tour instead of driving. Crater Lake Wine Trolley is suspending the Saturday, Sunday and Monday schedule for the 2012 season.  We are offering group tours for 8 or more people with a 36hour notice of reservation.  We also offer to rent the trolley for special occasions such as weddings, class reunions, etc.
