“We were so disappointed in not getting reservations at Crater Lake Lodge, but now feel it was such a blessing as we discovered this wonderful Inn !! Could everyone here be any friendlier?! Food is fabulous. We had the prime rib (huge!!), salmon, and  lasagna (which my husband said was better than my grandma’s recipe and I am Italian!!)…”  Charlie & Don J. - Lake Forest , CA

“The property is beautifully situated with lushes of green grass, flowers and even two horses. The dinner we had was similar to our European one and the 1st really tasty one we had in the U.S. , excellent quality and variety. It was a perfect stay on our 1st, but certainly not last, trip to your beautiful country!!”  Teruska H. & Peter B - The Netherlands

“A rare find – a true glimpse into small town America . A taste of small town life, wonderful friendly people who care about their area and are proud to show it! Thanks to the staff for providing top service and thanks to the owners of this precious resource who have restored this Hotel to its precious jewel!”  Gail & Bill K. - Palo Alto , CA

“Thank you so much for a wonderful, relaxing visit. The room was beautiful (loved the chocolates), the staff was very accommodating, and the food was amazing! As if this wasn’t enough, there is jaw-dropping natural beauty within walking distance. Crater Lake is great, but in my opinion, it doesn’t compare to the Avenue of the Giant Boulders!! This has been the perfect retreat!”  Ron & Ronda D - Cincinnati , OH

“Although we didn’t think so at the time, it was a lucky break that we couldn’t get a room at Crater Lake Lodge. We were able, instead, to enjoy the charm, serenity, and warm hospitality of this lovely historic hotel. Our stay will be remembered as the highlight of our first trip to Oregon .  The Tretheways - Madison , WI

What an incredible gem in the midst of great beauty and serenity.  As a history teacher I was fascinated by the hotel’s background.  Two weeks ago I stayed in New York City at a hotel overlooking Central Park .  Let me assure you that your Inn was superior in everyway.  Hospitality, setting, food, everyone was warm.  Thank you for an experience we will remember always.                              Joann and Peter

We had a very lovely stay here at the Prospect Hotel.  Yesterday we stayed at Crater Lake and enjoyed its wonderful beauty.  Discovering the Rogue River and the waterfalls around Prospect was absolutely delightful.  The food and atmosphere in the B&B are excellent.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we are back in these parts again Prospect will be the first place on our list.                          Laim and Kathy -Teddington, Middlessoc , UK

What a lovely retreat! We are impressed with the attention to detail in décor and service! The food was wonderful and the room and hotel charming, bright and comfortable! We wish we could stay longer. What a beautiful place with a marvelous history!”  Denise & Jeff P. - Snohimish , WA
