Mt. Ashland Ski Area is preparing for the season, and no other preparation is as important as building their amazing team of employees. The Job Fair will be held this Saturday, November 16 from 10:00 until 4:00 at the historic Mt. Ashland Ski Lodge located at 11 Mt. Ashland Ski Road just 8 miles off of I5 at Exit 6.
“We are so excited to build another stellar team this season. One that will thrill and amaze our guests,” said Hiram Towle, Mt. Ashland’s General Manager. “Our guest service is second to none, and we have our dedicated team of employees to thank every year for that. It’s a great place to work, and I cannot imagine a better job than making happy mountain guests even happier. We are in the fun business and our employees get in on the fun too."
Mt. Ashland was voted number 18 on Oregon Businesses’ annual “Top 100 Nonprofits to Work for in Oregon”, and they offer benefits to employees like discounts on food and retail items, and of course, free skiing and snowboarding. Available jobs include lift operators, food and beverage workers, ski and snowboard instructors, bus drivers, parking attendants, lodge maintenance crew, ticket and retail sales, rental technicians, and many more. Being a nonprofit also gives a sense of pride to employees who are committed to Mt. Ashland’s service to the community. Mt. Ashland seeks to increase diversity in its workforce through a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
Mt. Ashland managers will be on hand to discuss the different job opportunities and recommend filling out an application online at their website www.mtashland.com in advance. Applicants should arrive early and bring a great attitude and desire to help guests make lifelong memories.
