Cover Crop Class and
Project Drawdown Climate Solution #11 (Regenerative Agriculture) will be taught and demonstrated at Bellview Grange, 1050 Tolman Creek Road in Ashland, on June 15th, 2019. This is a co-sponsored event offered by Southern Oregon Pachamama, Southern Oregon Project Drawdown and Bellview Grange.
At 9 am local farmer, Chris Hardy, creator of Hardy Seeds Company, will teach a class on the benefits of and how-to on carbon-sequestering cover cropping. To reserve a space please call 541 535-1854, and/or pay $15 at the door on Saturday, June 15th at 9 am. At 10:30 am the class will be followed by a community "Stomp In" with the public being asked to trample down the existing fall cover crop and help plant the seeds for the Summer Cover Crop.
There will be a lunch potluck at noon and guests are welcome to stay for the Project Drawdown workshop beginning at 1 pm. (see attached flyer)
