Do you Cherish history? Do you enjoy the outdoors? Gardening? Helping others?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you’re just the person we’re looking for! Saturday, April 27 & Sunday, April 28, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, the Southern Oregon Historical Society hosts the 2019 Heritage Plant Sale at Hanley Farm
. For three generations Hanley family members contributed to the farm’s beautiful landscape, and each year these plants are propagated and ready to be purchased and taken home to add a bit of history to one’s garden!
Over the years the Plant Sale has grown in popularity and attendance; what used to be a one-day event has evolved in to today’s 2-day sale and, as a volunteer-run Society, we need several volunteers - greeters, cashiers, plant-sale helpers, etc. Volunteers do not need to work the entire two days, there are morning and afternoon shifts to choose from.
We really appreciate your willingness to help! To learn more about volunteering to help with the Heritage Plant Sale, contact Cyndi Noyes, Volunteer Coordinator, at 541-773-6536, ext. 202, or email@example.com
And, if you’re unable to help with the plant sale, the SOHS has many volunteer positions to choose from. To learn about volunteer opportunities and to complete an online application, go to sohs.org/volunteer
