Tutorial Tuesdays Return: Beginning Tuesday, April 2nd!
Evening video programs begun in June of 2018 at the Jackson County Genealogy Library were so well received the Rogue Valley Genealogical Society is bringing them back! Beginning April 2, 2019 and continuing through October, 2019, Tutorial Tuesdays return!
Every Tuesday evening, webinars are show twice – once at 5 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. Each is FREE to RVGS Members, and $5 for non-RVGS Members.
The first webinar, April 2nd, is “Using Maps in your Family History Research.” But it doesn’t stop there! The April 9 showing, “Newspaper Strategies,” is followed with “Genealogical Jargon Defined” on April 16; the April 23 webinar is “Common Mistakes in Genealogy,” and April 30, “Finding Probate Records.” You’ll find a listing of all events and Tuesday Tutorials at www.rvgsociety.org
You know, membership definitely has its rewards! In addition to enjoying FREE fees for tutorial webinars, you can enjoy similar discounts to all RVGS events. For as little as $30 per year (plus $15 for each additional person at the same address), you can save “bundles” of money! As a member you have in-library free access to subscription sites such as Ancestry, American Ancestors, Findmypast, Fold 3, MyHeritage, Newspapers.com, and others.
