Mt. Ashland Ski Area Hosts Midwinter Jam Friday Night
The snow is back in a serious way at Mt. Ashland with 12 inches of snowfall in the last 24 hours! To celebrate the abundant return of snow Mt. Ashland is re-opening night skiing and will host their final Midwinter Jam of the season tomorrow night, Friday March 2nd.
Night Skiing is available on the Sonnet, Comer, and Windsor lifts under the lights. Tickets for night skiing are $25 and go on sale at 3pm.
Friday night’s activities will include a terrain park and free Rail Jam Competition from 4:30-6:30pm, with great prizes from Jack’s Board Shop and Blackbird Shopping Center. Eric Leadbetter will play live music from 5:00-8:00pm, and Sierra Nevada will run a drawing for a new pair of skis and a snowboard! Moose Munch will also be back with free giveaways all night long and Mt. Ashland will host free S’mores around the fire.
The Ski Hopper is also running special service for tomorrow night’s event by adding additional pick-ups between 4:30-5:00 and returns to town starting at 9:30pm. For additional information or to reserve your spot on the Ski Hopper please call 541-476-9463.
