Author Talk: Dr. Robin Miller and Dave Kahn Present Healed
Ashland, Oregon (December 18, 2017) — Local authors, Dr. Robin Miller, MD, MHS, and Dave Kahn, MS, CPT, will present their book Healed on Sunday, January 21 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ashland Library, 410 Siskiyou Boulevard.
Dr. Robin Miller gathered the knowledge, insights and anecdotes offered in this book over the course of 33 years of treating patients using the principles of integrative medicine. Board certified in Internal Medicine, she trained with Andrew Weil as an Integrative Medicine Fellow at the University of Arizona and is currently Medical Director of Triune Integrative Medicine in Medford. She has written The Smart Woman’s Guide to Midlife and Beyond, Kids Ask the Doctor, and blogs regularly for Sharecare.com, an interactive health and wellness website. Miller is a regular correspondent for KOBI-5, the NBC affiliate in Southern Oregon.
Dave Kahn has been working out consistently for over thirty years. He is a certified personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise, and holds Oregon state powerlifting records with the United States Powerlifting Association. In addition to moving weights in the gym, he also moves himself (and his partners) on the dance floor. He is an avid West Coast Swing dancer,
Teacher, and promoter of the dance, and is also a nationally-ranked competitor with the World Swing Dance Council. Kahn is also the author of The UnDiet, dedicated to helping to those who are struggling with their weight and fitness.
