​December Teen Events at the Ashland Library

Ashland, Oregon (December 2, 2017) — Teens can enjoy a variety of free programs this month at the Ashland Library, 410 Siskiyou Boulevard.

Teen & Family Maker Day 
Teens & Tweens ages 11-18 are welcome to innovate and explore LEGO Mindstorm, Littlebits & Sphero electronics and robotics sets on Saturday, December 9 from 12 noon – 3 p.m. Children 8-10 may also attend with a parent.
Teen Crafternoon: Sock & Sweater Creatures
Teens can enjoy a fun afternoon creating creatures from socks and recycled sweaters on Monday, December 11 from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. 
Teen & Family Game Day
Teens, parents, and kids 8+ are welcome to play a variety of tabletop and video games on the third Saturday of every month from 12 noon – 3:30 p.m. The next program will take place on Saturday, December 16. 
Teen Holiday Readathon
From Saturday, December 16 to Sunday, December 31, teens are invited to read for 1 hour in the Ashland Library’s teen section in order to obtain an entry ticket for our drawing to in a $30 Gift Card for Barnes & Noble. To participate, teens can pick up a ticket at the Reference or Teen Desk.
