Ashland Ski & Gear Swap Scheduled for December 2nd and 3rd

The 2017 Ski & Gear Swap features outdoor gear for all four seasons

November 26, 2017 - Ashland, Ore. – The Ashland Ski & Gear Swap will take place on December 2nd and 3rd (Saturday and Sunday) inside the Southern Oregon University Rogue River Room within the Stevenson Union. Sale hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The annual outdoor gear consignment sale and Rogue Valley community tradition is managed by Indigo Creek Outfitters with help from the Southern Oregon University Outdoor Program. For over 40 years, the Ashland Ski & Gear Swap has inspired local outdoor adventures by selling outdoor equipment at outstanding values.

The Ashland Ski & Gear Swap is a consignment sale, historically featuring skis, snowboards, and other winter-related equipment. In recent years, the swap has allowed non-winter equipment, such as kayaks, backpacks, and rafts and in 2017 event organizers are expecting even more non-winter gear to be present at the event.

This year, the swap is hosting a series of guest speakers on the second day of the sale. The topics and speakers include: Backcountry Travel by Eric Peterson, "Top 3" Southern Oregon Backpacking Trips by Gabe Howe, and Wildlife Tracking and Trailing in South Africa by Joe Kreuzman.

For those interested in selling, shopping, attending a workshop, or volunteering at the swap, visit http://www.AshlandSkiSwap.com or contact Indigo Creek Outfitters: 541-282-4535 or via email at skiswap@indigocreekoutfitters.com.
