A Peek Inside the Genealogy Library

We’re so very pleased to announce a FREE tour of the Rogue Valley Genealogical Society’s Jackson County Genealogy Library Saturday, December 2, 10:30am-11:30am. The JCGL maintains the largest genealogical collection between Portland, Oregon, and Sacramento, California! Genealogists search the JCGL website and make use of the Library’s wealth of information in their search for nuggets of information about their heritage.

A Librarian will share with you how these searches are conducted, show you how the 20,000 items in the library are organized, where they are located, and even provide you with a map to help you find what you need. Following the walkabout, there will be a demonstration showing you how to use the library’s online catalog and how to locate information using the library computers.

Join us December 2, take this opportunity to peek inside the library and learn how to use the materials available to help you in your genealogical research. You just might find a relative!
