Rose Circle Mini-Trainings
The Rose Circle is sponsoring free mini-trainings each month that are open to the public. Below are the trainings for September, October, and November.
September 14th from 530-730pm at the Ashland Library
The Jackson County Youth Suicide Prevention program has coordinated with us to hold a "Question, Persuade, Refer" training to review how to react to teen suicidal talk/behavior. Here's the link to register:
October 17th 530-830pm at the Medford Library
Child Abuse Prevention hosted by the Children's Advocacy Center will cover how to recognize signs of abuse, how to talk about this with the youth you work with, how to report, and what services are available in our community. When you click on the link to register, you will see all the training dates, please select "Rose Circle Public Training". If Childyou are unable to attend this date, please select a different date and send me your certificate of completion afterwards to include in your file.
November 14th 530-830pm at the Medford Library
Mentoring and Enhancing Racial Equity. Another mentor and I have been trained in how to facilitate a group using the Race Equity Tool-Kit and incorporate this into circles and/or conversations with individual mentees. Here's the link to register:
