Five Great Local Groups Perform at Hanley Fram's Music Festival
Before moving to Arizona, Intuitive Compass performs their last show in Rogue Valley at Hanley Farm’s August 5 music festival. With their unique singing style and creative use of resophonic guitar, harmonica, kazoo, bass drum, accordion, service bells, and washtub bass, Jason O’Dea and Aurelia Cohen create a sound that makes you want to jump up and dance, laugh out loud, cut loose and spin with the music! In addition to Intuitive Compass, enjoy sweet lullabies and country classics performed by Sage Meadows and her band, High Country; the Karen Lovely band, featuring award-winning blues singer Karen Lovely and award-winning blues guitarist, Ben Rice; the Fret Drifters post-flamenco strumming, sweet mandolin and bluesy tenor vocals; and Phoenix Sigalove, with his soulful vocals and rhythm-based acoustic guitar, performing his original songs.
