Brain Books Discussion Group

Ashland, Oregon (April , 2017) — Join the Brain Books Discussion Group as they consider the following book on May 23, 2017 from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. in the Guanajuato Room of the Ashland Branch Library, 410 Siskiyou Boulevard.

May 23, 2017: Mistakes Were Made (but not by me): Why we Justify Foolish Beliefs, Bad Decisions, and Hurtful Acts by Carol Tavris and Elliot Aronson (2007).  Tavris and Elliot Aronson show that when confronted with cognitive dissonance, humans tend to self-justify rather than admit error and change.
