Traveling to Ashland

The Ashland experience becomes richer when you venture out for the day to the Southern Oregon region. Ashland is the ideal gateway to all adventures encompassing the outdoors, wine tasting, river rafting, music, shopping and exploring. A visit to Ashland is not simply a single experience. Rather, itís the coming together of many individual experiences and interactions that combine to create something as unique as it is inspiring.  As a result, the collective Ashland experience is truly greater than the sum of its individual parts.  And while there are more than 30 towns named Ashland in the United States, each unique in its own right, thereís only one authentic Ashland, Oregon.

Ashland is primarily a drive destination, but if you arenít driving here, there are other modes of transportation alternatives. Ashland is located 15 miles from the California border approximately half way between Portland, Oregon and San Francisco, Ca.

  • Ground transport available through shuttle and cab services (Cascade Airport Shuttle/Ashland Taxicab service, 541-488-1998) and four rental car companies located at the airport.
