Sip "n" Swirl Tastings

Join the Ashland Wine Cellar for a complimentary
Wine Tasting every Thursday evening 

Featured wines will be 10% off during the tastings, and there is no charge to attend. A selection of cheeses, crackers, and gluten-free crackers are served.

Bordeaux: Deconstructed! 
February 23rd, 2018
7:00 - 9:00 PM

Join Ashland Wine Cellar and Joe Ginet of Plaisance Ranch for an educational wine tasting roundtable. This is an opportunity to taste six Bordeaux grape varietals - Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Petite Verdot, and Carmenere, and discover each grape's role in creating a Claret-style blend. Then create your own Bordeaux blend with the guidance of Joe. Each blend will be judged and the winner will get to take home a bottle of wine. Most wines will be available for purchase. Light bites are included. 

Limited seating so please make reservations in advance.
Cancellations within 24 hours of the event are non-refundable without a replacement.

This is a class you won't want to miss! 
Chef Skye Elder, the 2017 Top Chef from the Ashland Culinary Festival, is going to re-create and teach you how to make his winning dish - Wild Coho Salmon Two Ways (Coriander Seared Coho with Coconut Jasmine Rice and a Wasabi Caramel Lomi Lomi Salmon and Radish Napoleon). During this class you will learn how to execute this dish among other cooking techniques, a hands-on class for all attendees. New for 2018, we’re hosting a series of Midwinter jams! Each event will have live music, rail jams under the lights, and tons of free stuff giveaways. Sponsored by Moose Munch and Sierra Nevada brewing, we’ll have something for winter people of all ages.For the February Event, Pretty Gritty will be performing songs that mix country, rock, blues, and soul. Come dance with us!

FREE Rail Jam will be set up in full view of the Outdoor Deck, which will feature Sierra Nevada tall boys and a ski/board waxing station.

Practice for the Rail Jam goes from 4-5pm, Comp runs 5-6pm, and anyone can enjoy the terrain park for FREE from 6-8:30pm.

Great Giveaways all night long from Sierra Nevada and Moose Munch!

Mt. Ashland will extend lift operations to 5pm for all passholders and day lift ticket holders. Night skiing is available on Sonnet only from 3-9pm for just $7/ticket  and free for passholders.

For our Midwinter Jams, we’re offering free Ski Hopper service to and from the ski area (evening service only - see schedule here).

Get ready for Bavarian Night 2018!

Bavarian Night is an annual fundraiser for the Mt. Ashland Ski Patrol. It’s a special night of Twilight skiing, a Torchlight Parade, a fireworks show, live music by Collin and Co., and lots of great ways to support our Ski Patrol, like the popular Raffle Auction.

All Twilight tickets sales from 3:00pm to 9:00pm are donated by Mt. Ashland to the Ski Patrol. Come enjoy the evening festivities and great skiing and snowboarding.

The Ski Patrol does a fabulous job of making this evening a family oriented event with a raffle for great prizes, live music, food specials, a torchlight parade, a massive fireworks show, and more.

Come on up, buy raffle tickets, a ski patrol t-shirt and a lift ticket to help support our wonderful Ski Patrol!
