News from Cheri and Adam

After 20 years of practicing law, I will be retiring on April 1, 2021, allowing Adam and I to enjoy the beauty of this valley and all the wonderful opportunities it has to offer.  We are happy to announce that we will be leaving the practice in the most capable hands of Scott Bucy.  Scott is an experienced and accomplished attorney who will serve my clients with the same skill, diligence, and attention that I have attempted to provide throughout my career in both California and Oregon.
 
Scott’s professional career began in Colorado where he was the owner of several successful businesses throughout the ski resorts of Rocky Mountains.  He attended law school in Kansas on a full academic scholarship, permanently relocating to Ashland in 2018 with his young family.  Scott is committed to raising his family in Ashland and enjoying a full and satisfying career helping his community.
 
Scott brings to our clients experience in several areas of law, including intellectual property, trademarks, general business law and planning, family law, and, of course, estate planning and estate administration.  Scott is partners with Robert Good, a well-respected attorney who has served Ashland for over 28 years, and they will be working in concert to provide excellent legal services to our clients.  All this allows Scott to serve you more fully than I was able to, since my practice focused on estate planning and estate adminstration only.  Scott and Robert should be able to address just about any legal issue you may have!
 
Unless you direct otherwise, Scott will retain my files related to the work I (and Allen Drescher before me) have done for you and will be available to provide legal services for you following my retirement.
