A storefront, it recalls the kind of small cheerful restaurant in Paris or New York that is elegant yet simple, knowing, yet without pretense. Step through the doors, and the mood is relaxed, charming and romantic: deep burgandy carpet, lace curtains, hurricane lamps, fin-de-siecle etched glass partitions, polished wood and a wall covered with prints of belle epoque Paris.

The small, carefully chosen menu changes frequently, and is best described as a blend of contemporary and traditional French cuisine. There is also the very popular Prix Fixe Dinner which changes weekly, and is available every evening that includes a 3-Course Prix Fixe Dinner which changes every other week and is available every night for only $29.95.

The bar service is expert, with renditions of a classic Martini, Cosmopolitan, Sidecar, Old Fashioned and Manhattan dispatched with great care! After the plays Chateaulin becomes more like a neighborhood bar where good conversation mingles easily with the warmth of strong coffee drinks, delectable desserts, tasty appetizers, exceptional wines, and classic cocktails.

The Wine List is Award Winning, featuring hundreds of domestic and imported selections, as well as many hard-to-find boutique wines from Oregon, Washington and California; and should you want to purchase the bottle of wine you enjoyed with dinner, you can walk next door to the adjacent Chateaulin Wine and Gourmet Foods Shoppe.

Open Lunches Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00-2:00 and dinners at 5:30 serving full-course dinners, light bistro suppers, and appetizers. After the plays, join us for delicious soups, pate and salads, tempting desserts, wines by the glass, brandy, expresso and cocktails.
