The Ashland Library also welcomes the Oregon Shakespeare to reserve space for performances.
The Friends of the Ashland Library is an active volunteer group that supports the library through volunteering, fundraising, and advocacy. The Friends hold an ongoing book sale in the library lobby, where you can purchase good quality used books any time the library is open. Book donations to the book sale are always welcome at the circulation desk.

The Business Information Services department at Jackson County Library Services was created in May 2019. The Library supports all communities and is creating programs to help local small business to grow or start. Individual consultation (Book a Librarian), and Small Business Information Workshops are available to empower business owners and entrepreneurs to succeed. The Business Librarian, Elanna Erhardt, has provided consultation for individuals seeking information to grow an independent construction contracting business, start a pet boarding facility, and find support for effective networking. Ms. Erhardt is committed to finding the tools and information needed to support any business endeavor

Jackson County Library Services connects people with information and one another through free programs and technology resources. The Business Librarian, Elanna Erhardt, connects small business owners and entrepreneurs with tools to grow or start their businesses. Book a Librarian to talk with Elanna about any business information need. She can find the market, industry, and technology information and resources available to support local small business.
