Eleyah Knight L.Ac.
"Eleyah began her journey in the world of natural medicine when she became a mother. After researching the most holistic, nature-based, and spiritual methods to give birth and raise a family, she became empowered to be her children's health care provider and teach them how to support their own healing process.
She graduated from a master's program at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California, where she was endlessly inspired by the ocean, redwoods, and abundance of healing energy. As a clinical intern, she worked in community and mental health clinics where she was able to treat and help out several patients in 3 hour shifts. She also took extra pediatric clinics and internships to prepare her for specializing in treating children, including her own.
She uses many safe, effective, and fun modalities that kids respond quickly too. Some examples are Japanese shonishin tools used to tap acupuncture points and brush along channels, tuina/massage techniques that can be paired with gentle oils to move energy and open up the sensory system, and seed stickers for children to press and activate points to get in tuned with their body.
Eleyah has also seen remarkable improvements in several patients she's treated with acute and chronic pain from injuries and overuse. The key to these relieving results has been consistent treatments through comprehensive care plans. Chinese medical treatments train our bodies to respond effectively and healthily to stressors and truly can align us with our innate abilities to heal from within.
Eleyah offers free 15 minute consultations for all new patients. She is new to the Ashland community and would love to get out and meet anyone who wants to connect.
