Pasta Piatti re-opens as Pie + Vine, Wood Fired Italian.

At the heart of this change remains the same intentions started nearly 13 years ago as Pasta Piatti.  The goal then and still today is to create a dining experience that is approachable, casual and friendly at modest prices.

Owners, Tom and Lisa Beam, began considering the idea of featuring wood-fired cuisine nearly 5 years ago and finally committed to the change going into 2016.  The 6 foot oven is the focal point of the dining room at Pie + Vine.  The oven is ideal for creating traditional Neapolitan style pizza, as well as several other menu items including steaks, salads and pastas.  The menu assortment is generally the same, but the change of menu has allowed for even greater food quality than before.  We have always made our sauces, stocks and doughs from scratch, however, now we have added the making of our own pasta, house-pulled mozzarella, and Italian sausage.

So why the name change?

We really wanted to let people know that we were shaking things up.  Last year we planted Tempranillo and Pinot Gris and will be introducing our homegrown wines in the months ahead!  

We are excited to move into this new chapter with our long-time customers and friends.
