Tyrone Wilson of OSF directs Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor at AHS November 5-15

Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor is a fast-paced colorful Renaissance comedy of delightful intrigue and misunderstandings. When scheming for some fast cash, Sir John Falstaff attempts to seduce and swindle two Windsor merry wives: Mistress Ford and Mistress Page. When they put their heads together and compare his letters, they plan a practical joke or two to teach the knight a lesson. But Mistress Ford's husband is a very jealous man and is pumping Falstaff for information of the affair. Meanwhile the Pages' daughter Anne is besieged by suitors which all adds to the hilarious consequences.

AHS presents this delightful comedy, with music, dance and lots of laughs. 

Directed by OSF's Tyrone Wilson, with a large cast of 31, the show will play Thursdays--Saturday evenings,opening Thursday, November 5 through Saturday, November 14. All evening shows are at 7:30 p.m. One closing matinee is on Sunday, November 15 at 2 p.m.
