The Rogue Valley Growers & Crafter's Market is hosting an "Iron Pie Competition."

The event will be Tuesday August 7, 2007 from 9AM to 1PM.

Four chefs will compete and finished pies will be judged on texture, flavor and appearance.

Chefs include Tiffany Christy of Larks, Marc Rosewood of Pangea, Susan Powell of Pilaf and Peter Hambley. They may only use ingredients purchased at the market.
